Hey all,

I had 14 Swift Parrots fly over my house at Kurri Kurri, Hunter Valley on tuesday of this week. I had not noticed them nearby until a Brown Goshawk flushed them from a small Forest Red Gum in a nearby yard. The Goshawk landed in the tree and the Swifts flew out in all directions. After the 200+ I saw at Kurri TAFE 2 weeks ago these are the first I have seen in the area, the TAFE has been closed due to school holidays, I have been unsuccessful in gaining access to the grounds, thanks to the caretaker, but I will go back this week  as the holidays are over.
