Hi Kev,

You will find the Australian Pipit listed in the old Pizzey as the Richard's Pipit Anthus novaeseelandiae Plate 67, text page 228.

It was described as Anthus australis Australian Pipit by Shodde and Mason in the Directory of Australian Birds - passerines. Presumably the updated Christidis and Boles (which has just been sent for publication) will adopt this change and it will be 'official'.
