Hello everyone, There was a imm Little Friar Bird( a extreme rarity for the Sydney area) at Dahrug Nat Park yesterday and the Blue-faced Honeyeaters were in force cleaning up the scraps at The Wisemans Ferry pub, three imm and a adult. For those who are familiar with Dahrug, Superb Blue Wrens are a very common bird there. Yesterday it took us 5.5 hrs before we located a small group, my general feeling is that these birds are down in numbers this year, anyone else finding the same? Lots of trees in blossom but no Swifties. keith b the beautiful Hawkesbury 60km N/W of Sydney ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
