How odd, I've lived in Lapstone for most of the last 25 years and have never seen a Turquoise Parrot here, then someone breezes through and picks one up. Oh well.

But there are odd things around at the moment, I saw a Blue-faced Honeyeater out the front of my house last Saturday (22/04/2007) which was the first I'd seen in the Blue Mountains.

And the Square-tailed kites haven't been seen in Lapstone for at least two weeks, but I did see one in Richmond on my way home from the Hawkesbury Show at 2 pm on Sunday 29/04/2007.

Cheers
Graham Turner
