My old rooster become a 'Pavlov's Rooster' when he realised my neighbour
would throw food over the fence if he crowed. I would often hear him
start
up if I (we) heard Bill come out his back door. Ceasing when the food
was
delivered. My old rooster cared for his ladies very well!
Do we have some Pavlov's Magpies?
Our local magpies Coburg, Melbourne sing. In my experience magpies sing
especially morning and evening - territorial? But also at other times.
