Hi All

Thanks for all the input I have so far as to good birding spots in and around Melbourne, should keep me occupied while I'm near the city.

I'm still seeking a way to get to Werribee. On July 15th my boyfriend will be at the footy, which leaves me free for birding and this would be the most convenient day for me to get to Werribee. If there is anyone who's keen on picking me up from Essendon (alternatively I could take public transport to a closer spot) and going to Werribee and dragging me to any other birding spots until evening I would be extremely grateful and only too happy to pay some petrol costs.

It also looks like we may be heading up into the hills for 3 days, we're still deciding on exactly where we are going to stay (somewhere no more than 2 hours from Melbourne and where we can see snow). Can anyone recommend a good spot to stay? And of course, good spots for birding or other general touristy stuff in the area?

Thanks in advance!

Belinda
