G'day All,
Large numbers of Snipe present at the moment. Yesterday we had one definite Swinhoe's, one probable and one possible. Also three definite Latham's, three probables and more than half a dozen warranting no allocation to species.

Of the one definite Swinhoe's I got a good look at the upper tail coverts and my guest saw the long trailing legs.

Should also mention for those searching for them that the Blue-faced Parrot-finches are becoming difficult to see. They are still around but often in groups of one! Two was the most I saw yesterday in the one place but did hear others nearby.

Regards,
Alan
