When birding in Central America I was amused to see that the
English-speaking ornithologists of that area had liked the adjective
'ochraceous', and labelled many birds with it. An even more unusual
adjective than 'rufous' or 'nankeen'.

BTW note that those who objected to Bush Thickknee and Rufous
Night-heron knew exactly which species I was referring to.
