Hi all
A great morning at Boat Harbour this morning at high tide to see if i could find Edwin's previously reported Wandering Tattler. Very happy to say that i did indeed see it which was a new bird for me. (I have had my photographic evidence confirmed by Edwin - thank you again)
Also seen:
Kelp Gull
Double-banded Plovers
Red-capped Plovers
Red-necked Stints
Sooty oystercatchers
Pacific Golden Plovers
Ruddy Turnstones
All 4 NSW cormorants
White-faced Heron
Eastern Reef Egret (dark morph)
Crested Terns
Silver Gulls (couldn't turn any into some rare Gull species unfortunately!)
Australian Raven
Richard's Pipit
Brown Quail & Brown Goshawk (on the road in)

A surfer that i spoke to had seen Little Penguins out in the bay earlier as well.

Also stopped in at the Metromix site and saw 2 Pied Oystercatchers (not SIPO's unfortunately)

Cheers
Dave Stowe
