I have just received a report of a sighting of a single Ringed Plover at
Trebonne, North Queensland on 7 March.

The bird was sighted to the east of the tiny town, in a swampy area near the
railway tracks and still in view of the houses

Trebonne is to the west of Ingham.

Ringed Plovers are regular but rare in QLD. The birds yellow-bill with a
black tip was seen clearly.
