Hi folks

A chance of us doing a quick trip to Adelaide for the
upcoming long weekend.I would like to squeeze in a few
hours of birding. I imagine we will depart
Melbourne Fri evening and drive half way, grab some
zzzzs and aim to get to a birding spot somewhere
around dawn.

Then onto Adelaide to do non-birding things for most
of Sat. Sat night probably overnight at Mount Barker
(in the hills). Sunday unsure, probably in/around
Adelaide and then head south to Goolwa as
I have rellies there I need to visit. Monday unsure -
probably start heading 'slowly' back to Melb for a
Tues evening arrival.

Given fairly limited time would love to hear of any
current good birding spots :

- on route Melb to Adelaide
- in hills/or around Mount Barker
- southern areas on route to Goolwa
- on route Goolwa to Melb (unsure if returning via
coast or inland)

We visited Adelaide/SA in Nov so I have a couple of
spots Id like to visit again but am after clues based
on current conditions. My viewings would be based on
eyes and camera - not binoculars ;-)

Thanks in advance.

Cheryl
