Mike, WTN seen in various locations on Coolola Coast during BQ campout at Inskip Pint Feb 9 to 11.My personal observations were: Road from Rainbow Beach to Inskip Point, 9/2,10/2, few birds seen Noosa Plains area, about 30km SW of Rainbow Beach (near northern end of Coolola Way) 3 single birds over 40 min period post-sunset flying low over heath (10/2) 10 km stretch of beach southern end Fraser Is, from 0730 to 0810, Sun 11/2, up to 70 WTN in small flocks (max20), usually only 5-10 at one place.(Storm had moved through in early am of 11/2) Russ Lamb, Maleny,SEQ ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
