Siting is not the same as sighting. Sorry all, but I feel the wish to point out (only for future users of the word of course, because that prior subject line is potentially confusing). Moonee Ponds Ck (or indeed any place) is very likely itself a siting (as in a description of a place, a site) but I suggest that what these several prior messages are referring to is sightings (as in something that was visually observed, or in this case noted records of birds).
