There is a possibility that I may be going to Kangaroo Island in April with
the family and in-laws. I have trolled through the Archives and found a fair
bit of information on various subspecies and the best places to look for
them. The map I have doesn't seem to show Lathami CP so if anyone can
provide directions to this reserve (as an area for Glossy BC) it would be
appreciated. I may have some questions later (some of the locations are
general and once I sit down and have a look at each species may want more
directions) but at this stage I am interested in any recommendations on
accommodation. We are probably looking at self-contained cabin style
accommodation. There will be 5 of us and so would need two bedrooms (or even
separate cabions). We are probably also going to be there for about 10 days
so I was thinking about two different spots (one in the east, one in the
west) for a few days at a time. If anyone has good experience with staying
on the island it would be greatly appreciated.
Any general info on birding or the island itself would also be useful.
