help with heron id

Could someone please help me out with some herion id.  I'm fairly sure what I 
am looking are immature pied herons - 5 in total (Weipa area, FNQ), although as 
described in Slater's pied herons aren't supposed to have white spots on wings 
while in flight (as like the white necked).  These birds are similar in size to 
pieds but vary in the amount of white on their head and all have white spots on 
their wings - visible in flight and at rest.
