Gooday birders

Was at Stockton Spit this morning and Pambalong Swamp this afternoon,
both near Newcastle, NSW. Of interest saw 5 Little Terns at Stockton
Spit plus Gull-billed Terns, Crested Terns, Red-necked Stints,
Bar-tailed Godwits, Whimbrels, Eastern Curlews etc. Among others at
Pambalong Swamp saw a Spotless Crake, 2 Lathams Snipe, 2 Buff-banded
Rail and 5 Glossy Ibis in that part of the swamp south of the old rail
line and close to the road.
