Hello all,

It occurred to me that jizz might be a corruption of 'gist' (meaning - the
substance or main part of a thing) and when looking it up in the Oxford
English Dictionary ( the definitive dictionary) I found that gist also means
"said of birds and their halting places" and that meaning is dated from 1545
AD.

Regards

Reid
