Greetings,
Went looking and listening for Golden Bowerbirds in the greater Longlands Gap
area. Zero except for one bird near the old well known site. It was a
brown-grey bird with a dull yellow eye. It was making the regular calls and
some imitation. Birds imitated included Brown Gerygone, Mountain Thornbill and
Bridled Honeyeater. The bird was sitting about 10 metres from the disused bower
and about four metres from the ground.

Regards,
Alan Gillanders
