Hi all,
I tried to send this before, but it didn't seem to arrive, so will have another attempt.

Re, the various mainland Twitchathons,

Not to deny you mainlanders your bit of fun - and not to prevent any Tassie birders entering your "foreign" comp.'s, either - but we are organising our own, islander version of a 'Twitchathon' as well.

We're going a bit later in the year (Jan), with some of our own special rules and conditions.

You guys are welcome to join us, if you like, but one of our rules is that all ticks have to come from beautiful Tassie, it's territories and waters.

Sooo......, if anyone's interested, plan a trip to Tassie between Jan 8th and 21st (you get to pick your 24-hr period here), email me for a "Great Tassie Twitch" Info Pack, and come south for some great twitching!

Of course, and Taswegian birders following this list can also contact me for details, or see the November edition of "Yellowthroat".
