G'day readers

After six weeks of problems the Birds of Melanesia web page is operating again.
Sorry for those who have had trouble downloading files and have e-mailed me
direct to obtain checklists for various islands. It has always worked on my
three computers but stopped working on the server and when new copies were
uploaded to the server they would not work either!!!!. I do not know what has
made the difference as I have just kept uploading copies until it worked on the
server - presumably an error-free copy got through.

The page provides annotated and fully referenced checklists for 440 Melanesian
islands in Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia.

It can be found at: birdsofmelanesia.net

If you have any papers or trip reports that are not included I would be happy
to add them.

Happy birding

Mike Tarburton
