If I'd got there early enough, the Rufous and the Blue Winged Kooka would

Hi Birders,

Thought I'd share this happy-snap of a male Golden Bowerbird tending his
bower at Paluma yesterday:

The birding around Townsville has been ridiculous over the last few
months, with crippling views of absolute stunners - everything from a
Scarlet Honeyeater raiding spiders' webs, to a Rufous Owl ripping the head
off a Blue-Winged Kookaburra.

Cheers,
Tom.
