Both woodswallows have also been over western sydney, lower Blue Mountains from about thursday last week. Evan Beaver and I saw good numbers in Castlreagh Nature Reserve ( north western sydney), and I have seen them at Lapstone (lower Blue Mtns) every day since last thursday.

Evan and I had a a bumper day on saturday (trip report to follow...) with channelbill cuckoo, shinning + horsfields bronze, white-throated gerygone, little grassbird, brown + rufous songlarks and more. A glorious days birding, before the weather turned terrible on sunday.

Cheers
Graham Turner
