Some funding announced by the South Australian Govt, the National Action
Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP) and the Australian
Government's Natural Heritage Trust
Includes projects :
Murray-Darling Basin - ...work to protect Malleefowl and Southern
Emu-Wren...
South East SA - ...protecting nesting sites for the endangered
South-eastern Red-tailed Black Cockatoo...
Eyre Peninsula - ...work to protect ... the endangered Southern
Emu-Wren...
Kangaroo Island - ...surveying up to 100 Glossy Black Cockatoo nesting
sites...
Quite a number of other projects involve control of feral pests incl.
cats and foxes, and other environmental work.  List is at
