I also wish to record my sadness at this news. Diana and I were very
grateful recipients of Barry's generosity, expertise and warmth during our
most recent visit to Alice Springs (last year). He will indeed be missed.

Bucholtz died on Saturday 26 August. He had assisted many of us to see those
elusive central Australian birds such as Grey Honeyeater and Rufous-crowned
