The NS was last seen Saturday around 3.30 when it was flushed and
flew low and East across the paddocks. It appears to have gone down
in a shallow wetland which is NOT visible from the highway.
Ken Shingleton is currently trying to obtain permission from the
landowner and to ascertain it is still in the suspected (same) area.
Ken will advise it's status as soon as he can and I will update you
accordingly. If it is re-found and you do contact Ken, please thank
him for his efforts as he has spent a considerable amount of time
finding this bird to keep B-Aus readers up to date. Thanks.
Also a reminder to please be patient with this one as the flock is
very flighty even when approached from a reasonable distance. (Take a
scope maybe) :-)
