Hi all,

Wanted to report a sighting of Spotless Crake from Minyippi Parklands in
Brisbane yesterday afternoon. The bird was sometimes out in the open,
calling loudly, but weaving in and out of the vegetation on the muddy bank
of Bulimba Creek near the big powerlines. Also got very good looks at Tawny
Grassbird and Chesnut-breasted Mannikins, plus Black-shouldered Kite,
Brahminy Kite and Peregrine Falcon all made an appearance. And finally a
single Wandering Whistling-Duck in the lagoon.

All in all a very nice afternoon.

Regards,
Chris
