Hi all

Just back from a successful sighting of 5 Black-breasted Button-quail at Inskip Point , Queensland , near Gympie. (Thanks Tom Tarrant for the precise directions ) On the right hand side beach at the end of the bitumen were 3 Beach Stone Curlew and 1 Kelp Gull .

I recorded Kelp Gull at Woody Point near Redcliffe in Brisbane a couple of years ago and was wondering if any locals up there can say whether they are increasing in numbers or I am just in the right spots at the right times ?

Also does anybody know an estimated population of Black-breasted Button-quail at Inskip Point ?

Cheers
