My wife and I were in Morgan (SA) on Saturday and took the ferry
across to the road to Waikerie. In the lagoons just past the ferry,
there were numerous waterfowl. Amongst them were at least two
Blue-billed Ducks, five Freckled Ducks, and a Musk Duck. I'm not sure
how unusual this is for the area, but it was quit unusual for us!

None of these three birds were visible at Harts Lagoon in Waikerie,
although it did have a great many Avocets, along with a good range of
other birds (A. Shoveler, A. Shelduck, Hardhead, Black-winged Stilt,
Pacific Black Duck, Chestnut Teal, Grey Teal, A. Grebe.) Each location
had about 100 Zebra (Pink-eared) Ducks.
