Fellow birders, a mate of mine is headed to PNG to hook up with another
mutual friend and run a barramundi lodge in the rainforest for 2 years.
Sounds a good gig. Colin, who's there already and not much of a birder
really, mentioned that I might like it there as he's seen 13 different
specied of Birds of Paradise! So, the other friend, Ben, wants to pick up a
guide to the local birds before he heads over. Any opinions on what's good?
He's not a natural birder, so the most important feature will be identifying
the birds that he sees; I very much doubt that he'll had out looking for
specific species. Any help would be appreciated.

I might even go and visit them.
