Hi Syd,

I had a similar experience a number of years ago in the Border Ranges National Park. I strongly suspect that the local Peregrine Falcon pair were the main culprits. As the raptor fanatics say there are only two types of birds - raptors and raptor fodder. Obviously the Brown Cuckoo-Doves are the latter!
