Hi all,

Not sure of it's worth a mention but I saw a Peregrine Falcon at Eastwood
station (NW of city) today. It was dusk (5.55pm) and I had two quick but fairly
good views from my train carriage as the bird zipped by, flying quite low.

The trees planted around the stations in that area are sites for the
congregation of hundreds of rainbow lorikeets at day's end. Perhaps this makes
good hunting for the falcon?

  Mike.
