In the area around Timor Caves (which are near Murrurundi in NSW), groups of 30 and 50 needletails passed through on Saturday afternoon. None seen there on the Sunday.  Not sure if they can be described as flocks – more like loose associations.  There was a couple of minutes from the first bird passing over us, to the final bird.
