MY last word on the Mike Simpson bird on the wire ID. How can it be a recently out of the nest or juv Jacky Winter with a white throat and chin, HANZAB says feathers of chin and throat dark brown with white bases giving a mottled appearance The photo in the Photographic Index Series depicts exactly such plumage, whereas Mikes photo shows extensive white throat and chin ,I rest my case.
