Would'nt it be easier to call in Mr. Schwarzenegger (the Terminator)?

Everyone's had a stab at this, so here is my solution. Many wont like it. It's called the Nine Steps to Glory Indian Mynah Eradication Program (NSGIMEP - catchy anagram)

1. Select 40 people from each capital city and test their vision and hearing. If they pass, they're enlisted as Mynah Eradicators.
2. Train them with high powered air rifles until they're crack shots.
3. Train them to spot an Indian Mynah and differentiate from all other species. Get them to work on those pop-up shooting galleries like police use. Except the good guys are Noisy Miners and the bad guys are Indian Mynahs.
4. Run a public education program, including catchy jingles.
5. Create a map with each city covered in circles for teams to visit. Each circle divided into quadrants.
6. Put Mynah Eradicators in 5 central locations in each city wearing a nice bright vest and a bag minimum of 150 birds a day.
7. Pair the Mynah Eradicators up and give each team a map and a quadrant on their map to cover that day.
8. Give the Mynah Eradicators old bread to encourage Indian Mynahs to hang around.
9. Send them out from the centre of the circle to blast the hell out the feral things.

By working outwardly from a central point you'll get them all. They wont escape into the bush, they don't like it. They'll go back into previously cleaned up sites. Therefore the process is repeated. With 40 people shooting 150 birds a day (early morning in city centres) they'll soon be finished off. That's 6,000 birds a day! Then we start on country towns. It's the only way we'll get rid of them. You know it's true.
