Remind me to drive home with you from a twitch some time, Tones.

The silence would be worth it.

I usually drive in silence. That way I can hear bird calls through my open window as I go along.

Reading through Sean's book, The Big Twit, and his reference to music he listens to on birding trips, got me thinking: just what do other people listen to on the way to, and back from, a twitch?  I personally like to listen to the Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Saints, The Gun Club, Husker du and of course the Dead Kennedys.  Very early late '70s-early '80s, but it keeps one sharp.  If I score the twitch, I'll drive back euphorically to Sigur Ros, anything else from Iceland, Not Drowning Waving, or even Mozart.  If I dip, well, it's Joy Division, The Cure or Beethoven.  Anyone else got any favourites?  What do you reckon Andrew Stafford?

Cheers,
Geoff.
