Isn't the couple of extra notes (more like a "choo, choo") at the end the response of the female?

For a long time I noticed a call outside like a Whipbirds, but knew it couldn't be because you don't get whipbirds in suburban Perth.  Once I started birding I soon learned that the bird was simply a Rufous Whistler - perhaps this is what he heard?
