I must admit that I was so totally enthralled in what I was watching that I
didn't even think about photography until after it had all happened! Then to
my dismay I realised that my assistant had a camera sitting in her lap the
whole time!!! I blame her of course!

On a different topic but one that will be of sad interest - I just spoke to
Lindsay from Kingfisher Park and she informed me that one of the 2 juvenile
Lesser Sooty Owls that left the nest a few weeks ago was killed by a car
this morning. Very sad indeed.
