Hi,

Thanks to Alec Haughton for a birding trip out of Mildura during the week to the John Hobbs Memorial reserve. The eremophila is flowering strongly and there are Crimson Chats on the site, as well as stacks of Black Honeyeaters, White-fronted Honeyeaters and White-winged Trillers. I also stumbled across some Crimson Chats near Hattah the same afternoon. The mallee is flowering now and on Wednesday it chucked it down with rain all day, so it should be good for a while.

Cheers,

Simon.
