Hi all
Spent a most enjoyable morning at Gluepot yesterday, after good rainfalls in
June and early July and again the last few days the place is looking
fabulous and full of potential for the spring season.
I lost count of the number of Chestnut Quail-thrushes and Gilbert's
Whistlers I came across (each up to 10 I think). Also found a Striated
Grasswren, 3 or 4 Southern Scrub-robins, a White-browed Treecreeper and a
flock of about 10 Miners - at least half of which appeared to be
Black-eareds (the other ones I had too brief views of to determine).
I hope Russell will allow me to put in a plug for 3 courses that are planned
to be run this spring season: Birdwatching, Photography and Bats. Check the
website (below) for details, or feel free to contact me directly for any
other info.

Cheers
