Hi Bruce,

Thanks for posting your statistics from Optusnet, but how do you know that
all the messages Optus stopped were Spam?

I am using Outlook 2003 which I have set up to automatically redirect Spam
to a Junk folder. This works fairly well, but a very small percentage (less
than 1 pct) of messages sent to this folder are actually real messages. So
if Optus' spam remover works to the same tolerances, I would be losing about
one message a day, which would be a worry.

I really do think it is safer to select what you wish to reject on your own
machine, rather than rely upon someone else's selection of what is/is not
spam.
