Hi Birders,

Ken Shingleton from South West Rocks advises me that the Northern Shoveler that was at Seale's Rd Swamp, Belmore River near Gladstone, SW of South West Rocks has not been seen since Wednesday 7 July. It was present from 25 June to 7 July (13 days).

George Appleby from Victoria advise me that he saw the Werribee Northern Shoveler on 21/6/05, four days later that the previous sighting reported of 17/06/05. However that is still 4 days before the South West Rocks bird was reported. George did say that there were a few brown feathers standing out on the otherwise white flanks of the Werribee bird but this was not the case with the Seale's Rd Swamp bird, so they are probably different birds.
