I stayed in a small backpackers (Far South Wild, Strathblaine) down in
Tassie last year and the owners told me about their frogmouths.
Apparently once a year they are invaded by large moths, and the
frogmouths feast on them around the lights of the house. In the
morning, they find them so overfull from moths that they can't take
off, and must lift the birds off their paths and into the nearest
tree!

Chris
