Peter, if it was out in full view you should be able to give a FULL
description. The little provided is tantalising suggesting perhaps a Purple
Heron but we'd need much more detail to even claim a possible. How was size
determined? What species were available for comparison, Brolgas ? What was
the head and neck pattern? What day was it seen and precisely where?
