I've just checked the Atlas of Victorian Wildlife for the current distribution of Common Mynah and it shows just a couple of (westerly) records beyond the existing records around Geelong and Bendigo.

The most westerly records of the species appear to be from around Beaufort and near the western side of the Otways.

I encourage all birdos to submit details of their observations to the Atlas so we can at least keep track of any range extension/movements.  I can provide contact details for the atlas for interested observers.  Feel free to contact me directly.

cheers, Martin
