Mallards without a doubt - probably of domestic origin. The colour
variety with dark plumage and white throat-patch is called Cayuga, but I
have no idea why. I bet the males have curly tail-feathers. The
powder-puff crest is found in a domestic breed and has been around since
the 16th century at least. The wing-stretch pose shows the blue spectrum
and orange foot nicely.
