Thanks to Anthea, David, Lawrie and Peter for your quick responses. Juvenile
Muscovy Ducks is the general consensus of opinion. Certainly very attractive
ducks, so you can see why people would keep them in a domesticated
environment, and not something I can remember seeing in the past.

They must have escaped from captivity as they were very tame and not worried
about humans or dogs.
