It is a bit more difficult to determine when the summer migrants actually
leave until you finally realise that they are no longer calling. I reckon
the Channel-billed Cuckoos have left this area (Toronto on Lake Macquarie)-
maybe a week ago now. Koel and Dollar Birds are still here.

Not hearing them calling does not necessarily mean they have left the area Colin. Most of the Cuckoos stop calling after December I find.
