Hi,

I am new to this mailing-list and I have a question.

In august 2005 I will be visiting Queensland for vacantion and birdwatching. I cab find trip-reprots on lamington NP, Cairns and surroundings, Daintree, Atherton Tablelands e.g but besides these "highlights" there is very few coverage of other regions on the net.

Can anyone of you help me witj detailed birdwatchingtips and birdingsites to visit? I am looking for places a bit more west than the sites mentioned and where "drie-land" specoes can be seen, like hooded robin, crimson chat, major mitchells'cockatoo and the likes. Also other detailed site-information or trip-reports on other sites in Queensland is more than welcome. If these reports exceed 20 kb (limit for th emailing-list) it would be great if you would sent them to

Thanks,
Leo van Brunschot
