Hi All.

Droppped in at Ash Is. yesterday and had the pair of snipe in the scope within a minute of looking. They were in the reported spot. The female was standing up in the shortish grass and easily seen but the male was sitting low beside her with just the top of his head visible. Given that they were observed mating a while ago, I wonder if he is sitting on eggs. Worth keeping an eye on to see.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.
