Hi all,

I've spent the last few months studying at uni in Cairns, and I'll be heading back home to America early next month. I'll be in Sydney from 3 Dec to 8 Dec, and I'll be birding as much as I can during that time. As of right now I don't have any real plans, except for taking the train to Royal NP for a day or two, so I'm open to suggestions. I have a rather extensive hitlist that includes such species as Powerful Owl and Gang-gang Cockatoo. The list is mainly southern species that do not occur in the Cairns region. Would anyone be willing to take a look at the list and suggest some places to bird? Perhaps there is a site guide specific to the region? Also, if there are any outings that I can tag along for, I'd be grateful to hear about those.

Thank you,
Nick
